At Transformations Center for Weight Loss, we don’t believe in quick fixes. We strongly feel that providing our clients with the tools and resources they need to make educated and healthier choices is the key to sustained weight loss. 


With that in mind, we’ll never promote diet pills. Instead, we recommend weight loss supplements as an additional treatment on top of your classic diet and exercise regimen. 


Think of it this way: supplements are a bonus to help support your body as it sheds weight and gets stronger. While you certainly can lose weight without supplements, adding these powerful products can make the process smoother, faster, and more effective. 

What Supplements Do We Use ?

Each body requires different supplements to function optimally. The right supplements for you depend on your body’s current state and your goals. Our experienced team can help you determine what supplements will be most beneficial to you by assessing your body composition, health goals, and medical history at our clinic.

If we feel that vitamin D might be more beneficial to you, we’ll recommend salmon, tuna, egg yolks, cod liver oil, and sardines.

In most cases, supplements don’t work by directly influencing your body’s ability to shed weight, as most people believe. Instead, supplements work by affecting other factors in the body that can increase weight gain. 


For example, most people believe that food intake and a sedentary lifestyle are the leading causes of weight gain, but poor sleep, stress, lack of self-confidence, and depression can all contribute to weight gain. 


We’re generally looking to support these secondary weight gain factors when we add supplements.

In general, we only like to recommend supplements to those on a full weight loss program with us. We don’t typically recommend supplements as the sole treatment for weight loss because, as we mentioned, this can lead to people believing that supplements will work as a diet pill. 


Therefore, before you come to us to discuss weight loss supplements, you will need to work with one of our weight loss experts. You will discuss diet and exercise before we move into supplementing with extra nutrients and minerals. 

After Supplements

Most clients are highly interested in the after-effects of weight loss supplements when they start taking them, but we want to warn you that you likely won’t see any direct impact from supplements alone. Instead, supplements work in the background, giving your body the extra boost it needs to operate optimally. In addition, when you do see direct results from your supplements, it’s usually after months or even years of daily use. 


For example, if you start taking magnesium, you’re not suddenly going to drop 10 pounds next month simply because of the magnesium. Instead, you might find that after a year of daily use, your anxiety and stress levels have calmed, which helps your body release stored fat that it was holding onto during times of stress. 


Bottom line: The after-effects of supplements may not be obvious, but they are certainly powerful.
